Ballot Board splits proposed constitutional amendment into two parts

The Ohio Ballot Board split a proposed constitutional amendment into two parts today, deciding term limits for the Ohio Supreme Court and applying laws to members of the General Assembly did not fit in a single issue. The board said the group that proposed the amendment, the Committee to Impose Term Limits on the Ohio Supreme Court and To Preclude Special Legal Status for Members and Employees of the Ohio General Assembly, must re-submit specific language for two amendments.
