Author series at Westerville library rises in stature

Overhearing a woman seated next to her in the auditorium of Westerville Central High School, Nancy Smith sensed astonishment in her voice. Both had shown up to hear a presentation by best-selling author Daniel Silva, known for his series of espionage thrillers. “She commented to the woman next to her, ‘I can’t believe the Westerville library is sponsoring this author,’  ” Smith recalled of the gathering in July.
