Attendance low as the Ohio State Fair closes out 2017 season

The Ohio State Fair won’t break any attendance records this year as numbers are down since the tragic incident on the Fire Ball opening day, according to fair organizers.
The day following that incident, attendance dropped by 13,000 people and the following Friday, attendance was down 15,000 compared to 2016.
Here is a look at attendance for the first five days of the year.

Day 2, Thursday: 35,902
Day 3, Friday: 42,403
Day 4, Saturday: 100,228
