Athens County man dies in Fairfield County wreck

One driver died and another was injured in a head-on crash this morning in Fairfield County, the State Highway Patrol said. Jediah Rempel, 32, of Nelsonville in Athens County, was driving south on Rt. 664, just north of Rushville in Richland Township, when his Toyota Prius crossed into the northbound lane on a curve and hit a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Linda Young, 57, of Junction City, the patrol said.
