Astronomy: Columbus native helped verify NASA’s largest batch of exoplanets

Before NASA could announce last month the discovery of more than 1,200 exoplanets — the single largest batch to date in the search for planets that orbit stars outside of our solar system — the whole lot had to pass Timothy Morton's inspection.
