Armed suspect leads to early morning SWAT situation

A man barricaded himself inside a northwest Columbus home after police attempted to serve a warrant.Police say that the suspect is charged with Aggravated Menacing. When officers attempted to serve the warrant on Bentley Lane around 2:00 a.m. Monday, he refused to come out.Officers believe that the suspect is armed. The Columbus Police SWAT team was called in to help with the situation.Bentley Lane was blocked south of Bethel Road. The roadway reopened around 4:20 a.m.
