Another wave of heroin overdoses hits Columbus
Emergency responders revived an additional 21 people who overdosed on a deadly batch of heroin in the past 24 hours, according to Columbus Division of Fire. Between 8 a.m. Tuesday and and 8 a.m. Wednesday, 27 people overdosed the day prior, prompting police and health officials to issue a public warning Tuesday night and host a news conference Wednesday about the potentially lethal drug being distributed on city streets.
