Another smog alert issued for central Ohio

Central Ohio should experience another bad smog day on Tuesday. The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission said a forecast for high temperatures and low wind will contribute to the problem. Smog forms in the air on hot, still days when the sun cooks pollutants from cars, trucks, power plants and factories. It can irritate lung tissue, trigger asthma attacks and worsen other chronic breathing problems.
