Another group proposes adding wards to city council

As the Columbus City Council prepares to meet inside City Hall this evening, a group that wants to add council members elected from wards to represent specific neighborhoods will lay out its plan from the steps outside. The group, called Represent Columbus, is the latest to take on establishing a ward-system of government on Council. Several groups have tried and failed to place similar measures before voters or enacted by council in the last decade.
