Andersons: Acquisition offers were too low

MAUMEE, Ohio — Ohio-based agribusiness The Andersons Inc. said Wednesday that its board of directors has rejected two unsolicited acquisition proposals from HC2 Holdings Inc., a diversified New York holding company. In a statement, The Andersons said its board thought the proposals undervalued the company.
