Amended version of Reagan Tokes Act passes Senate committee

An amended version of the Reagan Tokes Act passed out of a Senate committee Wednesday morning.The bill would dramatically change how violent felons are sent to prison - allowing judges to sentence convicts to a range of years in prison rather than a set sentence.The original bill called for allowing the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction to have unilateral control in deciding if an inmate would be released from prison early.A House substitute version stripped that power away and le
