Alliance Data makes it faster to get credit cards

No more slowing down the checkout line while signing up for a store-branded credit card. That’s the aim of Alliance Data Systems’ new, proprietary credit-card-application tools for retailers. Alliance Data, a Columbus-based credit-card services business, recently launched two tools — the I.D. Self-Scan and the first-of-its-kind Frictionless Mobile Credit tool — aimed at saving time and effort for consumers and gaining more credit-card sign-ups for retailers.
