Akron e-school under scrutiny over attendance reports

Another online charter school is facing questions from state regulators about inflated attendance reports and possible overpayments of state aid. During the Ohio Department of Education's initial review of attendance reported this school year by Akron Digital Academy, officials found the school could not document claims that students were spending five hours a day doing classwork as required by state law.
