AEP seeks proposals for wind, solar projects

American Electric Power today is asking wind and solar developers for proposals for a massive expansion of renewable energy to serve the utility's Ohio territory. The Columbus-based company wants to build projects that would generate 250 megawatts of wind energy and 100 megawatts of solar in the state.
