AEP reports thousands without power in northeast Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio -Power outage leaves thousands without power Monday.Over 5,000 AEP customers are without power and the outage is impacting traffic lights in northeast Columbus.Columbus Police says traffic lights at Morse and Karl Roads are out, along with several intersections to the south.According to AEP's outage map, power is expected to restored this afternoon between 12;30 p.m. and 1 p.m.There is no word on what caused this outage.
