AEP pushing re-regulation after blocked profit guarantee

The day after federal regulators blew up years of work by two Ohio electricity utilities to secure profit guarantees, the participants are asking difficult questions about what to do next. American Electric Power, one of two companies involved, responded by saying that Ohio legislators should take quick action to re-regulate power plants, a process that would be complex and controversial.
