AEP Ohio urging customers to unplug, save money on bill

Take a look around your home.
Chances are you’re wasting money and don’t even know it.
“There’s roughly about 20 appliances and devices plugged in at any given time in a traditional home,” AEP Ohio Consumer Programs Manager, David Tabata said.
Tabata says that means more money out of your pocket.
“That consumption is small but an aggregate,” he said. “It’s about a hundred dollars a year that a customer is spending.”
