Activists frustrated with Columbus City Council spurred Issue 1

For decades, the city’s area commissions and civic associations have been the link between residents and City Hall, representation that was supposed to give neighborhoods a voice Downtown. But on Aug. 2, Columbus voters will decide whether to make a dramatic change to the way the city is governed.
