A look at the expected changes in the charter-school reform bill

A joint legislative committee this afternoon is expected to make numerous changes to a bill designed to implement widespread reforms to Ohio’s charter school laws, including assurances that for-profit operators can no longer keep possession of equipment purchased with taxpayer dollars. The committee is expected to approve the changes and vote on the bill this afternoon, setting up final House and Senate votes on Wednesday.
