94 percent of Ohio third-graders pass reading test

Two full school years after a renewed focus on reading, 94.1 percent of Ohio third graders did well enough on state reading tests last school year to be promoted to the fourth grade. That’s down from 95.8 percent the previous year, according to data released today by the Ohio Department of Education.
