PATASKALA -- A middle school student is in custody after authorities say the student made a shooting threat against Licking Heights Central Middle School.According to a release from Pataskala Police, the student made statements to other students that they were going to “shoot up the school on Thursday.”The school resource officer determined the identity of the student, a member of the 7th grade class, who was taken into custody after being removed from the bus.
