75-year-old man dies in North Side apartment fire

An elderly man died early this morning in a fire at a North Side apartment, authorities said. Crews with the Columbus Division of Fire arrived just before 4 a.m. this morning to an apartment complex in the 4800 block of Tamarack Boulevard, responding to a call of an activated fire alarm.
