5th-graders equip Canal Winchester school for disasters

Not only is every classroom at Winchester Trail Elementary School in Canal Winchester equipped with the usual desks and whiteboard, but soon each will be stocked with unusual items: dust masks, escape and rescue hammers, portable radios, a belt to secure a door, tampons to stanch blood from a wound.
