500 pounds of marijuana seized by Franklin County Sheriff's Office

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Franklin County Sheriff's Office said it has seized close to 500 pounds of marijuana while responding to an unrelated call in Prairie Township.On September 13, deputies were alerted to a house where an extensive amount of marijuana was being grown and processed after they were working on a separate call at the New Rome Motel.Several of the deputies noticed a strong aroma of marijuana coming from the yard of a neighboring house on Buena Vista Avenue.
