39-year-old man killed in south Columbus motorcycle crash

COLUMBUS – One person has died as a result of a motorcycle crash in south Columbus Saturday afternoon.According to Columbus Police, Soungoutoumba Macalou, 39, was driving a 1998 Ducati 784 north on Lockbourne Road at Watkins Road.When he entered the intersection he was struck by a tan or beige vehicle turning from southbound Lockbourne Road to eastbound on Watkins Road.Macalou was taken to Grant Medical Center by succumbed to his injuriesand was pronounced dead at 2:05 p.m. The crash happe
