3 union contracts still being ironed out

The heavy lifting is over, but state officials continue to negotiate contracts with three unions representing about 2,750 state employees, including State Highway Patrol troopers and dispatchers. Many terms in the contracts will flow from the state’s three-year agreement with the Ohio Civil Service Employees Association, the largest union with more than 28,000 corrections officers, highway workers and others.
