200 volunteers search for missing man last seen at Short North restaurant

Nearly 200 volunteers combed through the neighborhoods of the Short North and Arena District on Saturday morning in search of clues to the disappearance of a 26-year-old man who has been missing for a week. Joseph “Joey” LaBute Jr. was last seen at the Union Cafe, a Short North restaurant and nightspot, at about 12:30 a.m. on March 5.
