COLUMBUS, Ohio – One person is dead after a shooting on the near north side of Columbus.Police said officers were called to the area of east 17th Avenue and Lexington Avenue at 7:20 p.m.The victim, who has since been identified as 20-year-old Duane Edward Penick, Jr., was pronounced dead a short time later, according to Columbus Police.Investigators have no suspect description at this time.
