2-month-old child reported abducted found safe in east Columbus

Columbus Police is questioning a person of interest in connection to a reported child abduction that happened Thursday evening in east Columbus.Police were called at 8:06 p.m. to a home in the 1400 block of Elaine Road.According to police, the caller told officers a 2-month-old child was taken without permission by the child’s father.No description of the man or child was released by police.Authorities say the child was found safe after searching for nearly 2 hours.
