2 dead in multiple crashes during icy road conditions throughout Columbus

Icy conditions sent the Ohio Department of Transportation back into winter mode in a hurry overnight. Fifty salt trucks were out treating the roads before Friday morning’s commute.Several crashes occurred late Thursday and in the early Friday morning hours.A car spun out along Interstate 70 near the Franklin-Madison County line and was then struck by a semi. The passenger in the car was killed.The victim’s identity hasn’t been released.A semi went off the road along I-70 at I-2
