1808 land grant part of historic display
The 1808 land grant, which led to the construction of the first Catholic church in Ohio, is on display at the Jubilee Museum and Catholic Cultural Center, 57 S. Grubb St. The document, signed by President Thomas Jefferson and Secretary of State James Madison, is part of a larger exhibit that's open to the public at the center through October. A significant piece of Ohio church history is on display in the Jubilee Museum and Catholic Cultural Center in Franklinton.
