13 escape house fire near Ohio State campus

Thirteen people, including three Ohio State University students, escaped a house fire on the 300 block of East Northwood Avenue near campus early Wednesday morning. Columbus firefighters were dispatched to the house at 3:52 a.m. after someone in the area saw smoke and flames coming from the house. Some of the people in the house escaped through the back. Others were injured jumping from the second-floor roof, said Battalion Chief Steve Martin. Law enforcement officials are investigating the sour
