11 school levies on the ballot in central Ohio

Eleven Central Ohio school districts are trying to get levies passed, the largest is Gahanna-Jefferson. They're asking for a combined operating and bond levy, a total of 5.5 mils.Superintendent Steve Barrett said the operating levy will cover transportation, technology, textbooks and teachers, the necessities to keep a school running. Gahanna last asked for operating funds in 2011.The bond levy will build a new Lincoln Elementary School and do classroom upgrades in 10 of the district's schools.L
