10 people escape fire at Westerville house

Westerville Fire is investigating to figure out what started a fire inside a garage that spread to the entire home.Firefighters were called to a home at the 200 block of Gurgun Lane early Monday morning.Firefighters said smoke detectors alerted the 10 people inside the home. Everyone was able to escape safely and no one was injured.The American Red Cross arrived to assist families displaced because of the extensive damage to the home.
