1-year-old dies after being hit by vehicle in Union County

Authorities in Union County said a 1-year-old child died after being struck by a vehicle Monday.According to the Union County Sheriff’s Office, they received a call around 2:18 p.m. that the child had been hit on State Route 38, near the Paris and Darby Township line.Deputies and other first responders got to the scene and found the child was struck by a Ford F-150.The child was taken to Memorial Hospital of Union County where they were pronounced dead.
