1 teen injured in east side shooting; suspect arrested

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus police said a 16-year-old boy is being treated for injuries after a shooting on the city’s east side Wednesday night.Officers responded to the 700 block of South Weyant Avenue just before 9 p.m.A teenager was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital for injuries to the back. He is expected to survive.Police said the suspects drove from the scene and officers pursued them.The people got out of the vehicle in the area of Miller Avenue and Franklin Avenue
