1 killed in single-vehicle crash in Scioto County

SCIOTO COUNTY - The Portsmouth Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in Scioto County.It happened Friday around 9:20 p.m. on Dogwood Ridge near Edmond Drive.Michael Rose, 41 was driving southwest on Dogwood Ridgewood and lost control on a hillcrest. He went off the right side of the road and struck a culvert causing the vehicle to overturn.Rose was partially ejected and pronounced dead by the Scioto County Coroner. He was not wearing a seatbelt, according to OSHP.T
