1 dead following shooting in Whitehall; 1 in custody

WHITEHALL, Ohio — One person is dead following a shooting in Whitehall Thursday.It happened in the driveway of a home in the area of Langley Avenue and South Hamilton Road shortly before 2:30 p.m., according to Whitehall police.Police say the suspect had fled the scene but is now in custody.Police say Rosemore Middle School was placed under lock down while authorities searched for the suspect.
