1 dead after fatal crash in Licking County

ALEXANDRIA, Ohio-- Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that left one dead Saturday night.At approximately 8:16 p.m., Jacob M. McNamara was traveling south on Hardscrabble Road near Battee Road.OSHP says McNamara drove off the left side of road, struck a ditch, sign post, two trees and overturned.Officials pronounced McNamara dead at the scene.Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in this crash.
