1 dead, 3 hospitalized due to overdoses in Newark within 24 hours

Four drug overdoses within one day resulted in one death and sent three others to a local hospital in Newark this week.Newark Police and Newark Fire responded to multiple overdoses on August 6 through the night of August 7.According to Newark Police, Newark Fire administered approximately 18 doses of Naloxone.The three hospitalized were taken to Licking Memorial Hospital.Authorities have not identified the person who died.
