1 dead, 1 injured after shooting in west Columbus

COLUMBUS - One person was killed and another was injured in a shooting in West Columbus, according to police.The shooting happened just before 10:30 a.m. in the 2900 block of Sullivant Avenue.First responders told 10TV both victims were taken to Mount Carmel West. One person died and the other victim's condition is unknown at this time.Two Columbus City elementary schools are on lockdown due to the shooting in the area.
