1 charged with murder after deadly shooting in west Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio (10TV) -- One person is dead after a shooting in west Columbus Monday night, police said.Officers and medics responded to the 2000 block of West Mound Street just before 9 p.m.Police identified the victim as 25-year-old Richard Pack.Police have arrested one person in connection with the shooting, charging 21-year-old Kandle Messenger with murder. Police say Messenger and Pack got into a physical confrontation before the shooting.
