Police Take To Social Media For Fight Against Auto Thefts

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – The Aurora Police Department is taking to social media to help fight against auto thefts.
More than 1,100 vehicles were stolen in the city so far this year, which is up nearly 15 percent from last year.
Aurora police are now posting all reports of stolen cars to a new Twitter and Facebook page. It lists the vehicle description and plate number. The goal is to get that information out the public so they can help police find the stolen cars.
