Man Shot, Killed By Lakewood Police After Firing Airsoft Pistol At Agents

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) – A man was shot and killed by Lakewood police on Thursday morning after agents responded to an argument at an apartment complex. Police responded to the Carmel Waterfront apartment complex located at 10555 West Jewell Avenue around 2:48 a.m.
A spokesperson with the Lakewood Police Department told CBS4 the incident started when a man was reportedly throwing rocks at a neighbor’s door. The man pulled a gun on the neighbor when confronted.
