Supreme Court erred in FirstEnergy refund case: Consumers' Counsel

The Ohio Consumers' Counsel and the Chicago-based Environmental Law and Policy Center have asked the Ohio Supreme Court to reconsider its two-week old opinion that the state could not order FirstEnergy to refund customers more than $43 million in overcharges. That ruling will cost consumers much more than $43 million in the future, the OCC and ELPC are now arguing.
