Smileys donate $2.8 million to Catholic high schools, universities

The Smileys' gifts were donated in honor of Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus Roger Gries, who once served as principal at Benedictine High School and who, while serving as Abbot at St. Andrew Abbey in the 1980s, invited Smiley to join the Abbey's Financial Advisory Board.
