Shooting victim remembered for his dedicated work with Salvation Army

CLEVELAND — Members of the Salvation Army Temple Corps are mourning their friend, Jared Plesec, who was shot and killed Saturday morning on the city’s east side.
Cleveland police said the 21-year-old was fatally shot in the head in the lobby of the Euclid Beach Villa Apartments on East 156th Street, just before 9 a.m. Saturday.
Arrested for his murder, is 27-year-old William Ted Jones, who’s also accused of carjacking several people after the shooting.
