Ohio wind turbine setback rule may be changed in budget bill

A 2014 rule that shut down wind farm development in Ohio may be reversed during the final state budget negotiations in the next two weeks. Sen. Cliff Hite, a Findlay Republican, has proposed new less restrictive rules governing how far a wind turbine must be from land owned by property owners who are not part of a wind farm.
