Independence-based MacroPoint acquired for $107 million by Canadian global logistics company

MacroPoint, a freight-tracking platform company, has been acquired by Descartes Systems Group for $107 million, the company announced. Today, MacroPoint made its debut on the Inc. 5000 list, ranking No. 567. It is the fourth highest ranked company in Cleveland and 14th in Ohio.
