Immigration statistics show largest increase in arrests in three years

There was a 30 percent increase this fiscal year over last year in the number of undocumented people arrested. Immigration officials note that much of the increase occurred after Donald J. Trump took office. Although the arrest numbers were up, the number of people actually deported smaller than last year.
